Pet Boarding

We provide amenities such as clean bedding, food, toys when appropriate and water bowls. We have a large, fenced in backyard for your dog to enjoy and our cats have a window view from their condos. We do not offer doggy day care or play time with other boarding pets that are not in the same family. Toys, leashes, collars, beds and other personal items are asked to stay at home. We will administer any needed medication (there is an additional charge) and your own food if you prefer. (Alternately, we can provide a high-quality diet for no extra charge, although eating their own food tends to agree better with most boarded pets.) We can also provide bathing services before you pick up your pet.

Our kennel staff monitors the boarding area throughout the day. You have the added benefit of knowing that one of our clinicians will promptly begin treatment if your pet gets sick during his or her stay. Please reference the boarding consent form for specifics on veterinary care while boarding.

To keep all our patients as healthy as possible, we require dogs that are boarding with us to have a current rabies, distemper, bordatella & leptospirosis vaccinations, along with a negative fecal test + heartworm test. We require cats to have a current rabies and feline distemper vaccine. We also require that most vaccinations be given at least two weeks before boarding. Please call us for more information.
